Grab your mop and dive into tromaville’s radioactive chaos

Toxic Crusaders is an action game. It revives the campy, off-beat spirit of the classic ’90s cartoon in a vibrant beat ’em up built for up to four players. You choose from seven crusading heroes—Toxie, No-Zone, Junkyard, Major Disaster, Headbanger, Yvonne, or Mrs. Junko—each wielding unique moves and special attacks.

In Toxic Crusaders, you mop up radioactive villains, mutant thugs, and zombie chickens across seven filthy, full-color pixel-art levels set in the toxic streets of Tromaville. Every stage overflows with environmental hazards, hidden weapons like toxic puddles or explosive barrels, and hordes of goons eager to attack.

Team up with friends

Combos in Toxic Crusaders feel satisfying as you chain punches, throws, and special moves to clear crowds with dramatic flair. Local co-op is the heart of the experience. Allies can revive each other, share power-ups, and coordinate team super moves that turn the tide in the toughest fights. The cartoon’s irreverent humor shines through fully voiced, motion-comic style cutscenes that reference Troma’s cult movies and drop Easter eggs for longtime fans.

In the entirety of this adventure game, these narrative breaks add personality and momentum between the relentless action. Bosses draw straight from Troma lore, offering unique attack patterns that reward learning and teamwork. The game’s pace expertly balances frantic crowd control with brief moments of strategic pause, as you decide whether to heal, dash, or pull off a devastating finisher.

It is fast, chaotic, and endlessly fun with friends. The colorful graphics, outrageous humor, and beat-’em-up mechanics capture the feel of a Saturday morning cartoon turned up to eleven. Whether you’re a veteran brawler or new to the genre, the game delivers a gleefully gross, adrenaline-pumping romp through the messiest streets of Tromaville. However, there is a limited online multiplayer support
